C.M.Settings was founded by Chris M who started out as a diamond setting apprentice in Londonīs jewellery district Hatton Garden in the year 1988.
After completing his apprenticeship he continued working as a freelance diamond setter, working alongside some fine goldsmiths & companies.
Since moving to Finland in 2004, C.M.Settings as a name was born and in 2007 C.M.Settings-jewellery was added.
So as the story continues, we are commited to delivering you excellent quality & value for money.
Method: The basics....
What we offer is the chance for you to choose a design or customise a plain ring with your design, and have it made up by us using quality materials & gemstones.The difference being that we treat each job as a one-off and do not rush through work as is the case with most mass produced similar jewellery.
Quality gold & diamonds is only part of what makes a fine piece, hiding rushed work behind sparkle & high polish is cheating by our book. We take it upon ourselves to provide the better quality at a lower cost than you would normally expect.
We can do this by ordering the materials for each order individually, holding no stock, and generally keeping our overheads extremely low key.
How it works.....
The Design/Mallisto -section is divided into galleries of different types of rings ect.
Most designs are available in different stone sizes & alloys, so for more info please email us stating the gallery heading and model number
ie- Solitaire - R1-134S GA for a full range of options.
Plain designs like wedding rings/signet can be supplied as they are or customised with 1 or lots of stones in many styles depending on certain factors.

Please try to keep your descriptions /questions as short & clear as possible!
Orders & Payment - Once we have established via email(s) exactly what you wish, we will send you a Paypal or written invoice, from which you can make a "first deposit" payment within 14 days if you would like to go ahead with the order.
As each order is "custom-made" we split the quote into two payments.
First covers our expenses of obtaining the materials & the second is the balance.
We will send you the second invoice once the job is completed.Payment must be made before shipment.

Future repairs, alterations, stone checking are all welcome as we wish to look after your jewellery collection and future requirements.
